Bulls Back in Action on Saturday at Northern Illinois

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will look to remain perfect in Mid-American Conference duals when they head to Northern Illinois to face the Huskies on Saturday afternoon. It is the start of four straight MAC duals to end the regular season.
The Bulls are currently 3-0 in MAC duals and are coming off a 22-13 victory over Kent State on Jan. 22. The Bulls continue to have two wrestlers in the national rankings as Giuseppe Hoose is ranked 21st at 184 and Michael Petite is ranked 23rd at 157.
Northern Illinois is 6-4 overall and 3-1 in the MAC. The Huskies are led by Izzak Olejnik who is the reigning MAC champion at 165 lbs. He is currently ranked 14th in the nation.
Northern Illinois leads the all-time series, 14-9. The Bulls won the last meeting, 17-15, at Alumni Arena last season.
