Bulls Travel to Akron, Ohio to Face the Zips on Saturday Evening

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team (12-14, 6-7 MAC) will play the Akron Zips (18-8, 10-3 MAC) on Saturday evening at James A. Rhodes Arena. The Bulls are coming off an 85-61 loss at Ohio on Tuesday evening. Jonnivius Smith scored 14 points, tying his career high, and grabbed eight rebounds. Curtis Jones also scored 14 points as Isaiah Adams finished with 10 points. LaQuill Hardnett set a career-high four steals on the night.
The matchup between the Buffalo Bulls and Akron Zips will be the 72nd all-time meeting. Akron leads the series, 37-34. The Bulls are 8-23 at James A. Rhodes Arena against the Zips. Buffalo's last road win to Akron came on Jan. 28, 2020, 77-74.
