Bulls Host Michigan State in Mayhem on the Mainstage on Thursday Night

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will host Michigan State at the UB Center for the Arts on Thursday night at 7 pm. Dubbed "Mayhem on the Mainstage", it will mark the third time the Bulls will host a wrestling dual at the mainstage theater of the CFA. UB hosted Cornell in 2017 and Wisconsin in 2019.
The Bulls are 6-5 on the season and are coming off a solid weekend at the Garder-Webb Duals. UB defeated Kent State, 25-15, and host Gardner-Webb, 20-17.
Ty Raines (157) won all three of his matches on the day, while Tommy Maddox (133), Nick Stampoulos (149), Hunter Shaut (157), Chase Kranitz (184) and Sam Mitchell (197) each earned two wins.
Michigan State enters Thursday's dual coming off an impressive start to the season. The Spartans are 3-0 with dominant performances against Franklin & Marshall (34-10), Bloomsburg (49-0) and Presbyterian (53-0).
This will be the third meeting between Buffalo and Michigan State. The Spartans won the previous two outings, including a 28-12 victory in 2018.
