
Bulls Host Senior Day Saturday Against Bowling Green

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's basketball team will close out the regular season on Saturday as they host Bowling Green at 2pm. It is Senior Day at Alumni Arena for senior captains Summer Hemphill and Adebola Adeyeye.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Paul Peck (play-by-play) and Will Regan (color) announcing and can be heard on the radio on BET 1520 AM or on the Varsity Network with Matt Mattia on the call.
This is the 48th overall meeting between Buffalo and Bowling Green, with the Falcons owning the 27-20 series edge. The Bulls defeated Bowling Green 82-66 at the Stroh Center on January 5.
Winners of five straight, Buffalo is 21-8 overall and 15-4 in league play after cruising to an 86-60 win at Akron on Wednesday. The Bulls shot a season-best 59.7% from the floor, including 71.4% in the fourth quarter, in the win. Junior guard Dyaisha Fair led all scorers with 25 points to go with six assists and four steals. Adeyeye scored a career-high with 17 points while Hemphill recorded her third straight double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Junior Loren Christie also scored in double figures with 10 points.
Fair leads the Bulls and ranks fourth in the nation in scoring at 23.9 points per game. Hemphill is averaging a double-double with 13.7 points and 10.1 rebounds per game while freshman Georgia Woolley has scored in double figures in 21 of the last 24 games and is averaging 14.0 points per game, the best amongst all rookies in the league. Buffalo is distributing the basketball at an excellent clip, averaging 15.0 assists per game and a 1.1 assist-to-turnover ratio, while also ranking 23rd in the nation in rebounds per game (41.7). That leads to a potent offense which ranks 18th in the nation in scoring (76.0 ppg). The Bulls are ranked 70th in the latest NET rankings. They are also ranked 20th in the College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 poll.

Bowling Green leads the MAC in both field-goal percentage (45.2%) and three-point field goal percentage (37.5%).
