
Bulls Welcome Back Students; Set to Begin Two-Game Homestand Tuesday

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's basketball team is set to open it's first two-game homestand of the season when the Bulls host Eastern Michigan on Tuesday night. Buffalo has played just seven home games this year, which as of Monday was tied for 324th in the country. Overall, due to COVID protocols at other schools, the Bulls have played just 19 games so far this year, tied for 330th in nation.
UB is coming off a dominating 74-54 victory at Central Michigan on Saturday afternoon in Mt. Pleasant that saw four players in double figures in points, led by 19 from senior Jeenathan Williams. UB dominated the second half, especially on the glass where they had a 32-11 advantage over the final 20 minutes.
Eastern Michigan is at the tail end of three consecutive road games with contests at Ohio, Feb. 3, Kent State, Feb. 5, and Buffalo, Feb. 8. The team has remained on the road for the entirety of the trip and will return home following the game in Buffalo, NY. It is the team's longest in-conference road swing since Feb. 5-11, 1998.
Buffalo leads the all-time series 18-12 against Eastern Michigan and has won six of the last seven meetings. Buffalo has won the last nine in Western New York dating back to Feb. 4, 2004.
