Bulls Conclude Weekend Against FGCU

FT. MYERS, FL - The University at Buffalo men's tennis team wrapped up their weekend in Florida on Sunday with a 7-0 loss against Florida Gulf Coast.
FGCU took the opening doubles point, but singles was tight with two of the matches going three sets. Simon Wibler won his opening set at first singles 6-4 and Yu-Shiang Huang won his opening set at fifth singles, 7-5.
Both Cheng Tang at second singles and Daniils Snaiders at fourth singles pushed at least one of their sets into a tiebreaker.
"This weekend was another learning experience for our young team," said head coach Lee Nickell. "Our competitive spirit is good, but our focus in pressure situations isn't quite sufficient yet. With Vasisht out everyone is playing a position higher than normal. As a coaching staff we are excited to see how much we improve over the next few weeks using what we have learned the last four weeks."
The Bulls return to action next Saturday at St. Bonaventure.
