Bulls Host Cardinals Saturday Afternoon

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's basketball team begins its second round of games against the Mid-American Conference as the Bulls host Ball State for the second of two meetings. To date, UB has played every MAC team except Northern Illinois.
This the second meeting between the Bulls and the Cardinals as UB won in Muncie, 74-68, in Jan. 14. Four players scored in double figures, led by 20 from Jeenathan Williams. David Skogman added 16 points and 11 rebounds. Saturday's game is an important one for both teams as currently UB and Ball State are the only two MAC teams scheduled to only play 19 games, meaning these are the only two program that could be in a tiebreaker with each other.
Buffalo is playing a second straight home game for the first time this year as the Bulls are coming off a 102-64 victory over Eastern Michigan on Tuesday. Senior Maceo Jack scored a Buffalo career high with 22 points.
UB is coming off a 28-assist night against the Eagles, the most by a school in the Mid-American Conference against a D-1 opponent this season and the most by the Bulls since at least the 2010-11 season.
Buffalo leads the all-time series with Ball State 20-16.
