Bulls Finish Paradise Jam Against George Mason on Monday Afternoon

ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team (1-4, 0-0 MAC) will play the George Mason Patriots (2-3, 0-0 Atlantic-10) on Monday afternoon. This will close out the tournament for the Bulls. The game can be watched on ESPN3 with tip-off starting at 1 p.m. EST.
The Bulls are coming off a tough loss to the Howard Bison on Saturday evening, dropping the contest 63-59. In the loss, sophomore guard Curtis Jones finished with a career-high 22 points. He also knocked down a career-high eight field goals in the game. Coming off a double-double on Friday afternoon, LaQuill Hardnett grabbed 11 rebounds for the Bulls. Zid Powell also added 17 points in the loss.
This will be the first meeting against the Bulls and Patriots. Headed into their sixth game of the season, it'll mark Buffalo's third difference opponent that they've never played before in program history. The other two are James Madison and Drake. Head Coach Jim Whitesell has also never coached against George Mason as a head coach. All-time, Buffalo is 10-22 against Atlantic-10 teams.
After Monday, the Bulls will host Canisius on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 2:30 p.m.
