
2021 Football Schedule Revealed

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo, in conjunction with the Mid-American Conference, announced the 2021 football schedule on Friday.
The Bulls start the season by playing four straight non-conference games, beginning with Wagner on September 4 at UB Stadium. The Bulls will travel to Nebraska to face the Huskers on September 11. UB will host defending Sun Belt Conference Champion Coastal Carolina on September 18 before traveling to Old Dominion on September 25. It will be Buffalo's first meeting with each of its three non-conference FBS opponents.
Buffalo will open MAC play on October 2 against Western Michigan at UB Stadium. After a road game at Kent State on October 9, UB will return home to host Ohio on Oct. 16. The Bulls will play at Akron on October 23 and then host Bowling Green on October 30.
Football in November means #MACtion and the Bulls will play their final three regular season games on weeknights. UB will play at Miami (OH) on Tuesday, November 9 and host Northern Illinois on Wednesday, November 17. The Bulls will close out the regular season slate on Tuesday, November 23 at Ball State – a rematch of the 2020 MAC Championship game.
The 25th Rocket Mortgage MAC Football Championship game will be played on Saturday, December 4 at Ford Field.
Buffalo is coming off a 6-1 campaign, including a victory in a bowl game for the second straight season.
