BUFFALO, NY – As part of the spring game festivities over the weekend, head coach Pete Lembo hosted his third annual Career Night on Friday. The annual event gives current student-athletes the opportunity to get advice from former players who have built successful careers after leaving UB.
"Our annual Career Night event is one of the many ways we work to develop our players in a holistic way," Lembo said. "There is life after college football and the entire college football experience is a valuable commodity in the real world. There is no one better to share those insights than successful UB football alumni."
This year's event featured six former Bulls.
Mark Campanella
Played four different positions for the Bulls from 1999-02. He currently serves as Vice President at Sinatra & Company Real Estate.
Marcus Cole
A two-year starting linebacker and team captain for the Bulls from 1999-00. He has spent over 15 years working for Fannie Mae, including his current position as Director of Contingent Workforce Strategy & Operations.
Evan Finegan
A four-year starting punter for the Bulls from 2018-21 who was a three-time Academic All-MAC selection. He currently serves as Director of Real Estate Development for Urban Vantage LCC in Buffalo.
Chris McDuffie
Played running back for the Bulls from 2002-06. He serves as Principal at Mill Middle School in the Williamsville School District.
Steve McDuffie
A three-year letterwinner at linebacker for the Bulls from 1993-95. He serves as head coach of the Bennett High School football team and led the Tigers to the 2022 State Championship.
Todd Robertson
A four-year letterwinner at linebacker for Bulls from 2003-07. Along with his wife, Danielle, he founded Vector Venture LLC, a medical technology company.
"We had another great group of guys back on campus this weekend for the event and the spring game," Lembo added. "I am very grateful for their interest and support."
