Indoor Track & Field Opens the 2021-22 Season on Friday

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo indoor track and field team opens the 2021-22 season on Friday, Dec. 3 at the Youngstown State University Icebreaker. The meet is set to begin at 2 p.m. in the Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS).
Headed into the season, the Bulls bring back 10 Mid-American Conference medalists from the 2020-21 academic year. This includes two-time All-American and two-time MAC Champion high jumper Brandon Burke who set the program record for both indoor and outdoor events. Shot put specialist Jonathan Surdej returns and will look to bring home another gold medal and continue UB's dominance in the throws. Junior Kaylah Britt brought home the silver medal in the triple jump at last year's MAC Championships, she plans on bringing home the gold medal this year.
