Shih and Keller Named Athletes Of The Week

Sophomore Hsin-Yuan Shih won both of her singles matches easily this past weekend as she dropped just two games total in a pair of singles wins at sixth singles. On Friday, Shih defeated Anna marie Reynolds of Wright State, 6-2, 6-0 and then on Saturday afternoon Shih was perfect against Julia Gumieniak of Binghamton as she swept her, 6-0, 6-0. |

Troy Keller won the 165-lb. title at the MAC Championships over the weekend. He won the title for the second straight year, becoming the first 165-pounder in school history to do so. After winning his first three matches to get to the finals, the tournament's top seed was able to avenge his only MAC loss of the season in the finals by dominating Northern Illinois' Izzak Olejnik, 10-5. Keller will now advance to the NCAA Championships in Minneapolis. |
