
Bulls Announce Additions to 2020 Signing Class

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo football team added four players during the first day of the February signing period. Two offensive linemen, a safety and a defensive back will join the 13-member class that signed in December.

Transfer from Iowa Central Community College where he played safety… will have two years of eligibility… was a second-team JUCO All-American in his lone season with the Tritons… ranked second on the team in tackles with 75 and added three fumble recoveries and four pass breakups… began his career at West Virginia in 2017 and played 11 games in 2018, primarily on special teams… A graduate of Tucker High School in Stone Mountain, GA… was named to the Georgia Class 6A All-State Second Team… As a senior, finished with 64 tackles, including 55 solo stops, an interception and a forced fumble… named All-Region 4-6A First Team and DeKalb All-Metro.

Graduate transfer offensive lineman who was a three-year starter at Massachusetts… played both guard and tackle for the Minutemen… named Phil Steele All-Independent First Team in 2018 and Second Team in 2017… named to the Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List in 2019 before redshirting… was a four-year letterwinner and two-year team captain at Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia… a three-time All-City honoree… was also a thrower on the track and field team… a four-time member of the school's honor roll.
The 2020 signing class is comprised of five offensive linemen, two defensive tackles, two defensive backs, two running backs, a tight end, a quarterback, a wide receiver, a defensive end, a linebacker and a safety. The newest class comes to UB from seven different states and Canada, including Maryland (5), New York (3), Pennsylvania (2), Illinois (2), Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Oregon and Ontario.
Eight of the 17-member signing class enrolled at UB in January.
"We're excited about this group," head coach Lance Leipold said. "It's talented. We've hit on all positions for the most part at this time. As you see these guys being a part of our future, it's an exciting time and an exciting day."
