BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will partake in three different duals this weekend. The Bulls will travel to NCCC on Friday night, followed by road duals against Edinboro and Gannon on Sunday.
Winners of two of its last three duals, UB will take on Niagara County Community College on Friday night. The Thunderwolves are one of the nation's top junior college programs, ranked ninth in the country. NCCC is 5-0 on the season.
This will be the second ever meeting between the schools. Buffalo won the only other meeting, 36-8, in 2009.
On Sunday, the Bulls will travel to Pennsylvania to take on Edinboro and Gannon at the McComb Fieldhouse. Edinboro, a new member to the Mid-American Conference, is 7-3 overall and 2-1 in conference duals on the season.
Edinboro leads the all-time series, 21-4. This will be the first meeting between the schools since 2013.
Gannon is 3-0 on the year, including a 46-0 shutout of Division I LIU. The Bulls lead that all-time series, 8-0. However, it will be the first meeting between the programs since the 1989-90 season.
The dual against Edinboro is scheduled to start at noon, followed by the dual against Gannon.
