Football Schedules Four-Game Series with Connecticut

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo and University of Connecticut have scheduled a four-game football series beginning in 2024, the schools announced on Friday.
The teams will play in 2024, 2025, 2028 and 2029. The series will open at UConn on Sept. 28, 2024, followed by a game at UB Stadium on Sept. 27, 2025. The Bulls will return to Rentschler Field on Sept. 23, 2028 with the Huskies traveling to Buffalo on Sept. 15, 2029.
There is a history between Buffalo and UConn with the teams meeting 21 times over the years. First meeting in 1939, the Bulls and Huskies have met as both FCS and FBS programs. Connecticut leads the all-time series, 15-6. The last time the teams played was in 2013 with the Bulls winning the game, 41-12, at UB Stadium.
The Bulls finished the 2019 season with a record of 8-5 and their first ever bowl win, a 31-9 victory over Charlotte in the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl. The 2020 campaign kicks off at Kansas State on September 5. Click here for season ticket information.
