
UB Football Announces Additions to 2019 Signing Class

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo football head coach Lance Leipold announced the addition of six more signees to the 2019 recruiting class on Wednesday. Two wide receivers, two defensive linemen, a running back and a cornerback will join the 17-member class that signed in December.
"We are extremely excited about the young men we were able to sign today as well as our entire signing class," Leipold said. "We are very pleased with the athleticism of this class. We are also happy that we were able to continue to do well within the footprint of what our recruiting base is."

Heart of Texas Bowl… also an All-Region pick… played his high school football at McGill-Toolen Catholic in Mobile, AL… helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a state championship in both football and basketball in 2015 and a state runner-up finish in both football and basketball in 2016.
Combined with the student-athletes that signed in December, the 2019 signing class is comprised of six defensive linemen, five wide receivers, three offensive linemen, three cornerbacks, two linebackers, a quarterback, a running back, a tight end and a safety. The newest class comes to UB from 10 different states and one other country, including Florida (7), Maryland (3), Michigan (3), New Jersey (2), Ohio (2), Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and France
