
Bulls Host Cleveland State on Friday in First of Two Weekend Duals

BUFFALO, NY – After nearly a month away from Alumni Arena, the University at Buffalo wrestling team will host Cleveland State on Friday night in the first of two weekend duals. The Bulls will also wrestle at West Virginia on Sunday.
The Bulls are 1-4 on the season and are coming off a 23-10 loss at Cal Poly on November 23. UB continues to be paced by Derek Spann at 133 and Troy Keller at 165. Spann is 4-1 in duals on the season and has won four straight. Keller has also won four straight duals to improve to 4-1 on the year.
Cleveland State is 2-0 on the season with wins against Case Western and John Carroll. Former Bull Justin Patrick, who transferred to Cleveland State in the offseason, is 2-0 at 133 lbs. for the Vikings.
Friday's dual starts at 7:00 pm.
Buffalo will finish the weekend by traveling to West Virginia on Sunday to face the Mountaineers. WVU is 0-2 in duals on the year with losses to Northern Colorado and 24th-ranked Army. The Mountaineers have two wrestlers in the national rankings. Noah Adams is ranked 11th at 197 lbs. and Nick Kiussis is ranked 20th at 165 lbs.
