Weather Forces Course Change for NCAA Cross Country Regionals

BUFFALO, NY – Due to the record snowfall that blanketed Western New York on Monday night, the NCAA Men's and Women's Cross Country Northeast Regionals, originally scheduled to be run at Amherst Audubon Golf Course on Friday, November 15, will now be run on the University at Buffalo's North Campus.
Despite diligent efforts to clear the course, it was determined by University leadership, athletic staff and NCAA officials that the conditions at Amherst Audubon Golf Course were too hazardous to host the event. Thus, in the safety of the student-athletes competing, the decision was made to hold the races at UB's North Campus.
The races will still be held on Friday, November 15, with the women's 6k beginning at 11 am, followed by the men's 10k at noon.
Fans attending the race are encouraged to park in the Slee, Baird and Jacobs parking lots off Millersport Highway. The start/finish line will be near the rear entrance of Alumni Arena on Webster Road.
