
Moore Nearly Tops Personal Best in 400m Hurdles on First Day of East Preliminaries

TAMPA, FL – Mitchell Moore posted his second best ever time in the 400m hurdles on Thursday, the first day of the NCAA Track and Field East Preliminaries hosted by University of South Florida. Moore finished the race with a time of 52.14 to finish 29th. He was ranked 37th going into the race. He finished a mere inches from advancing to the quarterfinals.
Moore closed his UB career as a two-time individual MAC Champion, three-time MAC Relay Champion, two-time NCAA East qualifier and holds the fourth-fastest time in the 400m hurdles in school history.
Competition continues on Friday. Selina Von Jackowski (100m hurdles), Miranda Daucher (discus) and Sam Wray (discus) will all be in action.
