Bulls Defeat NJIT, 5-2; Finish Spring Break Trip Undefeated

ORLANDO, FL - The Bulls won their second match in as many days with a 5-2 victory over NJIT, 5-2. Buffalo started the match off strongly by earning the doubles point. For the second-straight day all three doubles matches were won by UB.
Margarita Kotok and Chantal Martinez Blanco won easily at third doubles, 6-1, while Laura Holterbosch and Christine Haraldson were victorious 6-4 in the second doubles match. Tanja Stojanovska and Dayana Agasieva secured the doubles sweep with a 7-6(7-5) result at first doubles.
The women's tennis team carried their momentum from doubles into singles play. UB won four of the six matches to win their second match in Orlando, FL this week. Kotok blanked her opponent, 6-0, 6-0, in third singles. Sanjana Dudhir and Haraldson both earned, 6-0, 6-1 victories in fifth and sixth singles action, respectively, while Martinez Balnco only lost two games at second singles to win, 6-1, 6-1.
First singles saw a thrilling match as Stojanovska and Rafaella Sampolo battled back in forth. In the end Sampalo defeated Stjanovska in three sets, 2-6, 6-3, 10-7.
