UB Sweeps Southern New Hampshire

ORLANDO, FL - UB women's tennis team started their Spring Break trip to Orlando, FL on the right foot as the Bulls defeated Southern New Hampshire, 7-0. After sweeping all three doubles matches, UB was victorious in all six singles matches in straight sets.
Laura Holterbosch and Christine Haraldson defeated their second doubles opponents, 6-0, while Margarita Kotok and Chantal Martinez Blanco came away with a 6-0 victory at third doubles. Tanja Stojanovska and Dayana Agasieva secured a sweep in doubles play with a 6-2 win in first doubles.
Their doubles momentum carried over into singles play where Buffalo came away with six wins and saw Southern New Hampshire win only nine games throughout singles play. Sanjana Sudhir swept Rachel Wagner, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 5 singles. Fourth and sixth singles saw Holterbosch and Haraldson win 6-0, 6-1, respectively. Stojanovska was equally dominant in first singles with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Ashley Loft.
Martinez Blanco battled hard at second singles to win 6-4, 6-1, while Kotok also won at third singles, 6-4, 6-1.
The Bulls are back in action on Thursday when they take on NJIT in Orlando, FL to wrap up their Spring Break trip.
