Bulls Sign A Pair Of Highly-Touted Players For 2017

BUFFALO, NY – Head volleyball coach Blair Brown Lipsitz has announced the addition of two players for the upcoming season as Andrea Mitrovic and Marija Babic signed their National Letters of Intent during the recent early signing period.
Mitrovic is a 6-1 outside hitter out of Mississauga, Ontario, who plays her club volleyball for Etobicoke 381. She has trained with the Canadian Youth National Development Program in Whistler, BC and has been a 17U Girls OVA All-Star.
"Andrea has the ability to be a top player in the conference," said Lipsitz. "She has the athleticism and competitiveness to help lead our program and make an immediate impact on this team."
Babic is a 6-4 left handed right side hitter from Belgrade, Serbia who plays for OK Dunav. She was a two-year captain for OK Zvezda in Serbia, where her squad finished in second place.
"We are thrilled to have Marija join our program," said Lipsitz. "She has the size and power to be a huge asset to us offensively and we are excited to see her compete."
In 2015, Babic played for Etobicoke 381 with Mitrovic, where the club took second place in the Ontario Provincial Championship.
"Together they will continue to build and grow UB volleyball into a championship program," Lipsitz added.
