Bulls Fall At Bowling Green, 5-2

BOWLING GREEN, OH - The University at Buffalo women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at Bowling Green on Saturday afternoon in its second to final regular season contest. The Bulls are now 13-5 on the year and 4-3 in MAC play.
The Falcons swept their way through doubles action, winning all three contests. In singles play, Bowling Green picked up straight-set wins at one, two, three and six to take a 5-0 lead in the match. The Bulls scored a pair of wins at four and five, both in three set matches. Senior Anamaria Candanoza won 7-6 (7-2), 3-6, 10-4 at five, while freshman Margarita Kotok won her contest at four, overcoming a first set loss for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 win. Freshman Laura Holterbosch won her singles exhibition match, 8-6.
The Bulls conclude the regular season next Saturday at Akron. Match time is set for 1:00 pm.
