
Bulls Drop 7-0 Decision at Brown

PROVIDENCE, RI – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team opened its Spring Break trip with a 7-0 loss at Brown University on Saturday afternoon.
UB opened play with one of three wins in doubles although the Bulls had a chance to clinch a second win. The number one duo of Damien David and Akhil Mehta scored an 8-6 win over Justin To and William Spector. UB's number two team of Sebastian Ionescu and Ashwin Sharma was defeated, 9-7, by Brandon Burke and Michael Reichmann. The Bulls were broken on their chance when serving for the match and were unable to come back for the win. The Bulls (6-4) were then swept in all six singles matches.
UB travels to Florida to continue the Spring Break trip. The Bulls will face Florida Atlantic and Lynn University while in the Sunshine State.
