
Bulls Swept By Toledo

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo volleyball team was swept in conference play on Saturday afternoon as they lost to Toledo, 3-0. The loss drops UB's record to 8-7 on the year and 1-1 in the MAC.
The Rockets took the contest 25-16, 25-14, 25-20 as they hit .325 for the contest, opposed to just .126 for the Bulls.
The Bulls were led by nine kills from freshman Liz Scott, who had just one hitting error on 21 total swings. Sophomore Dana Musil added eight kills, while Christine Fritsche and Abby Niekamp each added five. Dani Reinert added 30 assists for UB.
Defensively, Musil added eight digs, while sophomore Kelly Svoboda had six. Carissa McKenna finished with a team high three blocks, including two solos.
The Bulls are back in action on Tuesday night as they head down Main St. for a 7:00 pm match against Canisius.
