
Bulls Add Megan Lipski For 2012

BUFFALO, NY – Third-year head coach Todd Kress has announced that Megan Lipski has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the Bulls for the 2012 season. A Gatorade National Player of the Year nominee, Lipski comes to Buffalo from Louisville, KY.
Lipski led Sacred Heart to a 30-10 record this season, not including district or regional matches. In those matches, she had 347 kills, 35 aces, 25 blocks and 138 digs. During her junior season, Lipski was named SHA Offensive Player of the Year and a KVCA second-team All-State selection. Lipski was also named to the Under Armour Watch List in 2011 as well as one of ESPN's Top 10 Players at the Asics Challenge.
In addition to volleyball, Lipski is a high jumper on the track and field team, as well as a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. At Buffalo, she is planning on majoring in Spanish and Biology, with the intent to pursue medicine later on.
"Megan is not only a very talented student-athlete, but a also a great young lady," said Kress. "She understands the buy-in needed to take this program to the next level and I believe that will help her succeed at UB on the court and in the classroom."
