
Bulls Fall To Chippewas, 3-0

MT. PLEASANT, MI - The University at Buffalo volleyball team had another tough evening on the road, falling to Central Michigan, 3-0. The loss was the sixth in a row for the Bulls, who fall to 9-15 on the season and 2-8 in the MAC.
The Chippewas took the contest 25-17, 25-15, 25-19 as they hit .298, opposed to .135 for the Bulls. UB had a tough night from the service line as they recorded just one service ace, opposed to nine errors.
Freshman Liz Scott had an efficent hitting evening as she recorded 10 kills, with just three errors, on 20 total swings for a team-high .350 hitting percentage. Senior Abby Niekamp led the way with 11 kills, but she also had 11 hitting errors. Sophomore Dani Reinert had 32 assists, while adding three kills.
Sophomore Dana Musil led the Bulls with eight digs, while Kelly Svoboda added seven. Freshman Alessandra Jovy-Heuser finished with a team-high three blocks, including a solo.
The Bulls return home on Thursday evening when they host Akron at 7:00 pm.
