Kevin Voigt joined the UB staff in April 2024 in the role of Assistant Coach/Director of Operations. Voigt comes to Buffalo after 5 seasons at Villanova, 3 as a member of the Men’s Basketball team and 2 as a Graduate Assistant.
A Massapequa, New York native, Voigt was a part of 3 Big East Championship Teams as a player at Villanova, highlighted by a 2022 Big East Tournament Championship and run to the 2022 NCAA Men’s Final Four as a Senior. Voigt was twice a member of the Big East All-Academic Team and NABC Honors Court. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in May of 2022.
As a Graduate Assistant, Voigt assisted in daily basketball operations, opponent scouting, and on court player development, as the Wildcats earned NIT bids in both 2023 and 2024. He earned his MBA from Villanova in May of 2024.
"He is a bright young coach with a tireless work ethic that will assimilate into our staff and culture seamlessly," stated Head Coach George Halcovage III. "We are fired up to welcome Kevin to Buffalo!"
