Volunteer Assistant Coach

Declan Doherty begins his first season as volunteer assistant coach for the UB men's soccer program.

Doherty joins the Bulls staff after one season as head coach and marketing director for Global Premier Soccer of New York. During the 2014-15 campaigns, Doherty coached three GPS teams, two of which won league titles. Doherty also spent the 2014 season as head coach of the Lancaster High School boys JV squad, leading them to an undefeated (15-0-1) record in his first season.

Doherty graduated with a degree in sports studies from the University of Ulster Jordanstown in the United Kingdom.
