
Women’s Basketball’s Chellia Watson Signs Pro Contract

BUFFALO, NY – After a decorated collegiate career, University at Buffalo women's basketball standout Chellia Watson will now take her talents to the professional level, signing with SKK Polina Warszawa. The club, located in Warsaw, Poland, is a member of the European Women's Basketball League (EWBL).
Watson ended her UB career ranked second in program history in scoring average (21.7), third in free throw percentage (.812), fourth in field goals made (588) and attempted (1,359), fifth in scoring (1,522) and 12th in three-point field goals made (121). A two-time First-Team All-Mid-American Conference selection, Watson started all 37 games as a senior, averaging 20.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 44% from the floor and a team-best 82% from the free throw line to help lead the Bulls to a program-record 30 wins and a WNIT Championship. She scored in double figures in all 37 games including 25 20+ point performances and was named to the 2025 MAC All-Tournament team.
