Career at UB
Fall 2012: Went 2-3 in singles and 3-3 in doubles during the fall, picking up victories in both singles and doubles against Niagara.
2011-12: Finished the season with a 14-12 singles record and a 10-14 mark in doubles...played the majority of the season at third singles, where she went 5-3 in conference play... won the “C” singles draw at the Cornell Invitational... joined partner Kira Golenko in doubles, taking third in their flight at the Cornell Inviational and then making to their flight finals at the NYC Invitational.
2010-11: Finished the season with a 9-8 record and a 2-7 mark in doubles...went 6-3 at ffith singles, including an outstanding 5-1 mark during Mid-American Conference play...also went a perfect 2-0 at fourth singles...played matches at both third and sixth singles as welll.
2009-10: Selected as the team’s freshman of the year. She led the team with a 20-10 overall record in singles as well as 6-1 in the MAC playing number six for the Bulls. Markovic defeated Jessica Azoulay of Toledo 6-0, 6-1 clinching the quarterfinal MAC Championship match to UB. She was the only player to win her match in straight sets against Miami in the semifinals of the Championship, where she defeated Sydnee Bridger 6-2, 6-1.

Born February 10, 1990. Daughter of Mico and Radmila Markovic. Has two brothers (Nikola, Djordje). Favorite athletes include Andre Agassi and Roger Federer. Favorite foods are Greek salad, fruits and her mother’s cooking. Favorite TV shows include House and Grey’s Anatomy. Favorite movie is A Beautiful Mind. Majoring in pharmacology.
