2011-12: Appeared in five games... scored her first collegiate points against Duquesne (11/14)... played a season-high six minutes against #2 UConn (11/26).
High School: Earned four letters and was captain for two seasons at Martin County High School… averaged a double-double in her senior season (16 points, 11 rebounds) to lead the Tigers to an 18-6 record… named to the All-Area first team, the Treasure Coast All-Star team and MVP… helped the Tigers win a District title… also swam and ran track, earning four letters… played for seven seasons for three separate AAU teams – the South Florida Lady Jaguars, South Florida Pressure and Hoops City Finest… while playing for Hoops City Finest, won the USSSA Championship and the MVP award.
Personal: Born February 8, 1993… daughter of Leonard Callender and Lynnette Carey… hopes to major in either Psychology or Education… her favorite athletes are Candace Parker, Lebron James and Lisa Leslie… also considered Winthrop University, Central Conneticut and Bethune Cookman, but chose UB because of the beautiful city, the coaching staff and her fellow teammates… volunteered as a coach for the 7th grade girls team at the Hobe Sound Boys and Girls Club… her dream vacation destination is Bali.
