High School: Earned four letters and captained for one season for head coach Bethany Irwin at State College High School...averaged 18.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.0 steals per game her senior year, while shooting 49 percent from behind the arc and 88 percent from the foul line...finished her career as the school leader in three pointers, second in assists, steals and rebounds and third in total scoring... was the only member of her team to finish in double figures as she led her team to an 18-7 record and a number six ranking in Pennsylvania in Class AAAA... was given the Thomas Whittaker Memorial Basketball Award as well as being named her team’s Most Valuable Player... was also an All-State Third Team selection and named a conference All-Star...also a four-year standout on the women’s soccer team.
Personal: Born October 10, 1990...daughter of Rob and Mary Cooper..has two brothers (Matt and Will)...full name is Christine Cooper...favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant and favorite food is grilled cheese...chose Buffalo because of the basketball program, the size of the school, the exercise science program and the coaching staff...her dream as a college athlete is to go to the NCAA Tournament.
