Sophomore (2023 - 24): Did not compete in the indoor season...earned Academic All-MAC honors for the outdoor season...competed at MAC Outdoor Championships where he ran on the Bulls' fastest 4x400 relay team of the season (3:23.3)...set a collegiate best 800 meter run time of 1:59.14 at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational and a collegiate best 1,500 meter time of 4:03.35 at the UB Alumni Invitational.
Freshman (2022 - 23): Set a collegiate best mile time of 4:27.63 at BGSU Early Bird Invite.
High School: Six-time PIAA All-State honros...PIAA Champion in the 4x400 meter...set eight school records and one county record.
Personal: Parents are Erika and Jason Fluharty...sister Lexi ...chose UB for the welcoming coaches and team, as well as the school having a great engineering program...inspired by my two high school coaches...favorite athlete is Eliud Kipchoge, because he is by far the best runner across all distances, and he overall seems like a really great guy...favorite movie is Avatar...likes playing video games and hanging out with friends…. loves to eat Sushi.
