Joined the Bulls' coaching staff as an Assistant Jumps Coach ahead of the 2023-2024 season.
The jumps program had a strong year in 2025-26, posting 18 performances that joined the program's all-time top 10. The team also earned six Mid-American Conference medals between the indoor and outdoor seasons. Micah Blair earned silver in the indoor triple jump (14.58m) as freshman Nicalis Williams took bronze (14.58m) too. Williams doubled back at outdoor conference championships to take silver in the triple jump (14.65m) as Blair brought home bronze in the long jump (7.25m). Ryan Cardichon (3rd, 2.08m) and Stella Kapp (2nd, 1.74m) medaled in the high jump. Kapp went on to qualify for the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds, marking the third consecutive season that a Buffalo jumper competed at NCAA Regionals.
The Bulls' jumpers had a historic year for the program in 2024-25, rewriting the program record books. Zahra Amos headlined the group, becoming the sixth woman in program history to earn an All-America honorable mention and the 14th student-athlete in program history to compete at NCAA Championships. Amos also won the MAC Indoor Championship in the high jump, setting a new school record mark of 1.81 meters and earning All-MAC First Team honors. Freshman Akuot Kuany also competed at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds, enjoying a historic freshman campaign. Amos, Kuany, Kapp and Adrianna Ellsworth all rose or entered the program high jump ranks. On the men's side, Murphy won a bronze medal in the pole vault too at MAC Indoor Championships, taking the fourth spot in UB indoor history with a mark of 4.91 meters. Cardichon had a strong first year too, rising to sixth in the all-time in UB indoor history with a mark of 2.07 meters.
Competed as a member of the Bulls from 2018-2023. Won four medals at MAC Championships as a student-athlete, taking gold in the long jump for both the indoor and outdoor season in 2022-23. Had all-time top 10 performances in seven different events as a student-athlete, also breaking the Bulls' outdoor triple jump school record with a personal best of 12.85 meters, a record that had stood since 2003. Qaulified for the 2023 NCAA East First Rounds for the outdoor season in the long jump.
Competed at the United States Olympic Trials in 2024, qualifying for the triple jump finals with a mark of 13.10 meters in the preliminary round.
