2022-23: Made an immediate impact as a junior after joining the squad mid-year, going 9-5 in singles action from the first position… was 7-6 in doubles action, including a 5-3 record at second doubles with partner Daniils Sniaders where they were honored as the MAC Doubles Team of the Week on April 6.
Before Buffalo: Kalinin reached as high as 169 in the ITF World Junior rankings and was a semifinalist in the Boys 16's singles and doubles at the prestigious Eddie Herr tournament in Bradenton, Florida. He also was a finalist in the grade 2 event. He carries an ATP ranking of 1717 in singles and 1550 in doubles and currently has an ITF men's ranking of 836 in singles and 832 in doubles.
