2013: Made 36appearances in the circle, including 17 starts…finished witha 10-9 record and pitched 130.0 innings for theBulls…pitched a complete-game two-hitter, striking out 12against Texas-Arlington (3/17)…pitched a complete-gameshutout with nine strikeouts against Bowling Green (4/12) and hadseven strikeouts in an eight-inning performance at NorthernIllinois (4/21)…finished the season with an earned runaverage of 2.15 and was named second-team All-MAC…allowed noearned runs in 18 of her 36 appearances…added three saves onthe year and struck out 108 batters while walking just28…had a streak of 27.1 innings without allowing an earnedrun.
2012: Made 35 appearances in thecircle, including 23 starts...recorded the winning decision in 11of UB’s 14 victories on the year...pitched a career-high 9.2innings against Kent State (4/22)...recorded a season-high eightstrikeout in games against St. Louis (2/10) and Canisius(4/11)...recorded at least six strikeouts nine different times overthe season...on four different occasions, pitched at least 5.0shutout innings.
2011: Appeared in the circle 37times, including making 21 starts...led the Bulls with a 3.78 ERA,being named the team’s Ace In The Circle...threw a five-hitshutout as the Bulls defeated Bowling Green (4/2)...was named theMAC East Pitcher of the Week following her performance at BowlingGreen and Toledo....struck out a season-best nine batters againstPresbyterian (3/5)...picked up her first career save against Akron(4/30) pitching a scoreless final inning...pitched at least 6.0innings eight different times over the season.
High School: Earned a letter with Alvin HighSchool, pitching for coach Carla Newsom... played for four yearsfor the Houston Power club team for coach John Glowazcs.
Personal: Born February 28, 1992... daughter ofRobert and Carrie... has two brothers, Matthew and Ashton, and onesister, Rebekah... undecided for her major but hopes to one dayteach high school and coach softball... also enjoys playingvolleyball... chose UB because of the friendly environment andwelcoming teammates... if she could visit any place in the world itwould be Paris, France... the person she admires most is hersister; "Although she''s been through so many obstacles everyday,she gets through them with not only great character but with asmile on her face."
