One of the fiercest competitors in UB men's tennis history, Ethan Nittolo is now part of the Buffalo staff serving as a volunteer assistant.
Nittolo finished his UB career by winning the Jack Vredevelt Sportsmanship award, which is given annually to a senior who has displayed outstanding sportsmanship throughout his career. Nittolo was also named to the All-MAC First Team after earning second team honors last year. Playing at first singles, Nittolo went 7-5, finishing 20-12 overall, tied for the most wins on the team. The all-time winningest doubles player in school history, Nittolo went 7-5 at first doubles this year, earning 14 victories along the way.
Nittolo also finished his senior season ranked 20th in singles in the Northeast Region, just one of two non-Ivy League players in the final rankings. He finished his Buffalo career as the all-time leader in double victories with 67 and third all-time in singles triumphs with 75.
