Prep School: He started his year at La Jolla Prep where he played 25 games for head coach Bobby Bossman... averaged 14 points and 10 rebound per contest... transferred to Stoneridge Prep in January... played 11 games for the Wildcats and head coach Les Bean and averaged 7.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game... over the final seven games of the season, had five double-doubles while averaging 11.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
High School: Played for head coach Lechet Phillips for three seasons, serving as captain for two... led the team to a 22-7 record as a senior, posting averages of 19 points, 18 rebounds, and three blocks... first team all league as a junior and senior... averaged 17.7 points, 15.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots per game while shooting 61 percent from the field for his career, setting school records in scoring and rebounding... recorded 50 double-doubles in 64 career games... played AAU for Team Superstar and head coach LeRohn Dodson from 2009-12.
