High School: Three-year letterwinner at John Glenn for head coach Dave Cruz... played shortstop, third base and outfield... twice named second-team All-CIF... named All-League Honorable Mention as a junior and was the team’s Most Valuable Player as a freshman and senior... also played football, earning All-Suburban League Honorable Mention as a senior… was voted MVP three times.
Personal: Born January 9, 1989... son of Allen and Marilyn... has a sister, Salina... enjoys football, basketball, music and family... chose to attend UB for its good academics and baseball program... also recruited by Oklahoma Baptist, Cal-State Fullerton and Coppin State... favorite thing about UB is the campus... admires his family... dream is to get his degree and take the next step in life... majoring in social sciences.
