
Andresen, Glowacka Named All-MAC

BUFFALO, NY – The Mid-American Conference announced its postseason women's tennis awards on Wednesday with University at Buffalo graduate student Esmee Andresen named to the All-MAC First Team and sophomore Maria Glowacka earning All-MAC Second Team recognition.
Andresen earns First Team honors for the second straight year after recording double digit singles and doubles win totals for three straight seasons. She has posted 21 singles victories this season, including 15 overall and five in MAC play at the first position. She has also been a force in doubles action, recording a team-best 21 doubles victories with partner Glowacka, including a 16-7 dual record at the first position. The Rijswijk, The Netherlands native ranks in the top 15 in program history with 61 singles wins while also ranking 12th with 54 doubles victories.
Glowacka earns All-MAC honors for the first time in her career after having also recorded double digit singles and doubles win totals for the second straight season. She is currently tied for the team-lead with 23 singles victories, which is a new career-high. Glowacka has also been a dominant force at the top of the doubles lineup with Andresen, notching 21 victories.
