Bulls Drop In-State Dual to Binghamton

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team dropped a home dual to Binghamton, 29-10, on Sunday afternoon at Alumni Arena.
After dropping the first four matches, Sam Ewing got the Bulls on the board with an 8-1 decision in the 149 match. Ewing had a takedown in the first and second periods to set the tone.
Kaleb Burgess followed with an 11-3 major decision over Fin Nadeau at 157. Burgess had takedowns in the first, second and third periods and never looked back.
A winner of 10 straight dual matches, Marcus Petite added to his streak with an impressive 7-6 decision over #28 Will Eber. Trailing, 5-4, in the third, Petite got a takedown midway through the period to earn the win.
The Bulls will close out the regular season next Sunday when they host Ohio at 1 pm at Alumni Arena.
