BUFFALO, NY– Kaleida Health and the University at Buffalo Athletic Department are expanding their existing partnership to include all Buffalo Women's Athletics teams, in an agreement with Learfield's Bull Sports Properties. This milestone makes Kaleida Health the first-ever official sponsor of UB Women's Athletics, underscoring its commitment to the success of female student-athletes on and off the field.
The comprehensive partnership spans all seven of the university's women's programs including basketball, cross country/track & field, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, and volleyball, in addition to current elements around all sports.
"This partnership with Kaleida Health is about investing in our women as athletes, leaders, and changemakers," said D'Ann Keller, Deputy Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator at the University at Buffalo. "It creates meaningful opportunities that allow our student-athletes to use their voices and connect with the community in powerful ways and to elevate Kaleida Health's messaging with their personal stories and experiences. We're proud to partner with Kaleida Health in advancing opportunities that elevate and empower UB's women's programs."
A hallmark of the partnership will be first-of-its-kind student-athlete Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) campaigns, featuring UB women's athletes sharing Kaleida Health's important community messages across various platforms. The collaboration will also include opportunities for student-athlete appearances, fundraising events, and additional community-focused initiatives.
"We're proud to partner with UB Women's Athletics to support, empower, and highlight female student-athletes, coaches, and staff. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to promote women's health and wellness, while working to build confidence, focus on teamwork, and inspire the next generation on and off the playing field," said Kelly Corbi, MBA, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Kaleida Health.
In addition to prominent signage at each team's venue, the partnership includes digital and social media visibility, health and wellness messaging, as well as radio assets with Kaleida Health serving as the lead supporter of the women's basketball pregame radio shows.
"This partnership reflects the growing recognition of women's athletics and the importance of elevating female student-athletes through meaningful collaborations," said Jason Martin, General Manager of Bulls Sports Properties. "Together with Kaleida Health, we're helping amplify their voices and their impact within the Bulls community."
Bulls Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield – the media and technology company powering college sports – is the exclusive multimedia rights holders for University at Buffalo Athletics and handles all sponsorships and in-venue signage and advertising on behalf of the Bulls.
