Bulls Host Pitt in Home Opener on Saturday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will host their first dual of the season when 21st-ranked Pittsburgh comes to town on Saturday afternoon.
This is Buffalo's first dual of the season after starting the year at the Clarion Open on Sunday. The Bulls have six returning starters in their lineup, Troy Guerra (133), Sam Ewing (149), Kaleb Burgess (157), Rafael Knapp (174), Marcus Petite (184) and Jack Macdonald (285).
Burgess is ranked 30th in the Intermat rankings.
The Panthers are 1-0 on the season after defeating Navy, 20-12.
Pitt has six starters in the rankings - #5 Mac Stout (197), #14 Luca Augustine (174), #14 Dayton Pitzer (285), #25 Dylan Evans (165), #32 Evan Tallmadge (133) and #32 Briar Priest (141).
Former Bull Chase Kranitz starts for the Panthers at 184.
Saturday's dual is scheduled to start at 4:00 pm at Alumni Arena. Click here for ticket information.
