BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will compete in their first dual in nearly a month when they wrestle at Michigan State on Sunday.
The Bulls last competed at the F&M Open last Friday. Rafael Knapp and Hunter Shaut both placed sixth and Kaleb Burgess and Sam Ewing each won five matches on the day. Both Burgess and Marcus Petite enter Sunday's dual riding five-match win streaks in duals.
Michigan State is 2-3 on the season. The Spartans are led by 197-pounder Remy Cotton who is ranked 25th in the nation.
This will be the fourth meeting between the schools. The Spartans won the previous three matchups, including a 26-9 victory last season at UB.
Sunday's dual is scheduled to start at 3 pm and will stream on B1G+.
