BUFFALO, NY – Under the direction of new head coach Pete Lembo, the University at Buffalo football team will hold its annual Blue and White Game on Saturday afternoon at UB Stadium. The game will kick off at 1 pm - admission and parking are free.
"This will be a great opportunity to support our student-athletes and get a sneak preview of the 2024 team in advance of the season opener against Lafayette at home on Aug. 29," Lembo said.
Lembo announced that Jim McNally and Craig Cirbus will serve as guest coaches for the game. McNally, who both played and coached for the Bulls, had a 28-year career as an offensive line coach in the NFL. Cirbus was UB's head coach from 1995-2000.
Saturday will be filled with family-friendly activities as fans get their first glimpse of the 2024 Bulls. Inflatables and corn hole will be set up on the lawn inside UB Stadium as well as a prize wheel, face painter and balloon artist.
All fans will receive a pair of UB thunder sticks upon entry.
UB students are also encouraged to attend, with the first 100 students receiving a free Chick-fil-A sandwich. In addition, students will have the opportunity to compete in on-field promotions with a chance to win $100 gift cards to area restaurants.
Following the game, there will be a player autograph session on the field.
