Men’s Basketball Adds Western Ontario Transfer Tyson Dunn

BUFFALO, N.Y. – University at Buffalo men's basketball Head Coach George Halcovage III announced the signing of Western Ontario transfer Tyson Dunn to the roster for the 2024-25 season. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
In his three seasons with the Mustangs, Dunn started 52 games while appearing in 56, he averaged 30.4 minutes per game. The guard averaged 14.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 2.6 steals per game at Western Ontario. Dunn helped the Mustangs to their first 19-win season since the 2019-20 season when they went 19-9. The Newmarket, Ontario native was second in total points for Western Ontario in the 2023-24 campaign with 373. From the floor, Dunn shot .476 including a field goal percentage of .514 in 2022-23. He recorded a career-high 39 points at Carleton on Nov. 26, 2022.
"We are fired up to have Tyson here at Buffalo in his last year of eligibility, stated Head Coach George Halcovage III. "He is a tough-minded guard and relentless competitor that will raise the level of intensity every time he steps on the floor!"
