Bulls Set Personal Records At Texas State's Bobcat Invite

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Members of the University at Buffalo Track & Field team competed in Texas State's Bobcat Invitational this past Thursday and Saturday.
The Bulls' time in Texas was highlighted by several personal and season bests, with one joining the all-time outdoor school leaderboards.
Scilla Benussi opened the week for the Bulls, competing in the women's-B long jump on Thursday. The junior placed ninth in a field of 31 competitors, earning a new personal best mark of 5.70 meters. Benussi later ran a personal best time in the women's 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.54.
Angela Forster placed seventh in the women's high jump on Saturday with a mark of 1.66 meters. Forster's new personal best outdoor jump ranks tenth all-time in UB outdoor history.
Tal Hamel ran a season's best time in the men's 400 meter, mapping the track in 48.80. Jermaine Ewers finished 45th in the men's 100 meter with a time of 10.80.

The Bulls will next compete in the University of Rochester's Alumni Invitational on April 6th.
