Bulls Travel to Kalamazoo to Face the Broncos on Saturday

BUFFALO, N.Y. – After defeating Eastern Michigan (10-16, 3-10 MAC), 78-69 on Tuesday evening, the University at Buffalo men's basketball team (4-22, 2-11 MAC) will play the Western Michigan Broncos (9-17, 6-7 MAC) on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ as Josh Whetzel can be heard on the Varsity Network App and on 1520 Buffalo/1280 Rochester AM over the airwaves.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bulls are coming off a 78-69 home win over the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Tuesday evening. With the win, the Bulls extended their home win streak against the Eagles to 12 games. It was a career night for Zaakir Williamson. He finished with his first career double-double with career high marks including 13 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. Sy Chatman added his sixth double-double of the season as he brought home 23 points, 13 rebounds, four steals and four blocks. Isaiah Adams scored 13 points with Ryan Sabol chipping in nine. Bryson Wilson had a career-high seven points in the victory as Shawn Fulcher finished with a career-high eight assists.

The Bulls lead the all-time series against the Broncos, 20-14 (.588). Buffalo has won 10 of the last 11 meetings against Western Michigan, but the Broncos bested the Bulls earlier in the season on Jan. 6 by a score of 82-77. Buffalo has won five straight in Kalamazoo with their last loss came on Jan. 23, 2016. The Bulls haven't lost to WMU in consecutive meetings since the Broncos won five straight from Jan. 24, 2001 - Dec. 4, 2004.

• Isaiah Adams is averaging a team-high 3.6 assists on the season, good for fifth in the MAC. His 1.19 assists-to-turnover ratio is eighth in the MAC.
• In the last five games, Shawn Fulcher has had 28 assists and just 10 turnovers for a 2.80 assist-to-turnover ratio.
• Freshman Ryan Sabol leads the team with 49 made three-pointers on the season. He ranks ninth in the MAC in three-pointers made and is just one of two freshmen to be in the top-10 of the MAC.
