Bulls Defeat Le Moyne 6-1 on Wednesday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team defeated Le Moyne 6-1 at Miller Tennis Center on Wednesday afternoon.
The Dolphins took the doubles point with wins at first and second. Artem Alekseychuk and Daniils Snaiders won 6-2 at third.
The Bulls got off to a good start in singles action as Snaiders cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win at second singles before Finn Macnamara followed with a 6-2, 6-1 win at the sixth position to put UB up 2-1. Yu-Shiang Huang won 6-4, 6-2 at the fifth position and Theodoros Mitsakos clinched the match for Buffalo with a hard-fought 6-4, 7-6(5) win at fourth singles. Cheng Tang battled to a 7-5, 6-4, 10-7 victory at first singles and Alekseychuk completed the singles sweep with a three-set thriller of his own, winning 7-5, 7-6(5), 10-4 at the third position.
Up next, Buffalo returns to action on Friday, February 23 at St. Bonaventure.
